Our in person 2 day A2 Certificate of Competence combined with GVC (General Visual Line of site).
In the past, if you planned to operate your drone commercially you will need a PfCO – Permission for Commercial Operations. This changed as of 31 December 2020 when the PfCO changed to an Operational Authorisation via a GVC recommendation.
We teach a combined A2 C of C and GVC so that you can climb up the ladder faster over the 2 days. This course will gain you the qualification with a practical flight test. You may need further practical training.
The CAA will be using the GVC platform to launch new courses such as Extended Visual Line of Sight and Beyond Visual line of sight. The course covers all classroom work, exams, flight assessment and operations manual. We even include insurance for your flight assessment. Basically everything is included in the price, even your lunch!
Updates to drone codes are always followed and introduced whenever possible.
Progression
1 to 1 lesson. Local lesson at our office (EH33 1ET). We can happily travel to you but expenses will be added.
We also have locations available in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Perth and near Leuchars.
We have teamed up with PDT Ltd – Professional Drone Training to bring this course through.
