Edinburgh Drone Company is a leading supplier of drones, providing innovative and reliable solutions for a wide range of industries. We started off providing the worlds best UAS solutions to the UK market but soon we realised that supplying simply wasn’t enough. This section is dedicated to EDC builds and everything you see in this section is manufactured or assembled here in the UK.

Our mission is to empower businesses and individuals with the latest drone technology, enabling them to achieve their goals more efficiently and effectively. We can remove humans from dangerous situations all together and use robotics instead.
History
Founded in 2018, Edinburgh Drone Company Ltd (EDC) has been at the forefront of the drone industry, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible. With a team of experienced professionals and a commitment to excellence, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for our clients.
From its humble beginnings as a small start-up, Edinburgh Drone Company has grown into a leading provider of drones/ RPAS in Scotland. With a team of experienced aviation designers and cutting-edge equipment, the company can offer a range of services that are tailored to meet the needs of its clients.
We work tirelessly to bring new drones and payloads from all over the world to the UK so that we can enjoy he benefits these inventions bring. If you need more convincing… Consider the Mountain rescue teams (MRT) we work with. Drones changed the way they operate meaning they can have critical air coverage at a MUCH lower cost. This means vulnerable people are found quicker and with less human risk during the search.
When we cannot find a suitable product to supply our clients, we build! We have also seen a huge increase in demand for UK made drones which we are one of the few that can offer such a service.

We complete UAS builds unlike anyone else in the industry. We utilise relationships with suppliers to leverage the right parts to complete each build in a cost effective way. We can complete R&D builds/ one off projects at low cost to end users meaning you have access to secure, UK made solutions

- Motorised UAS Engine ‘Kill switch’ hardcase & Modification – Ensure your aircraft is always under control with a big red button from EDC. Hit this button and the engine will stop.
- UAS Parachutes – up 160Kg systems currently installed. Perfect pairing with the UAS Motorised engine kill system. This will bring the craft down smoothly.
- Marine vessel landing pads – Customised products for any ships or boats. We have created permanent and foldable systems.
- Ground robotics – Sometimes our flying platforms need a ground companion. We can create rovers which operate at ground level and Supplement your aerial assets.
- Marine robotics – If its not aerial or land then it must be the deep blue sea! We can create products that elegantly glide across the top of the water or dive deep under it. Either way, EDC can create a craft that will get the task done all made here in the UK!
