We have successful record with commercial businesses, organisations, charities and arms of government. We have also help first responders and emergency service/ search members to carry out their work. We supply and train these charities and organisations so they have the technology they need to go out and save lives.
Buying a drone is just the start for business users! We can walk you through software, hardware and everything you need to run a successful drone fleet within your organisation or business.
After we have the physical ability to conduct the aerial work, we then have to make sure staff are trained and authorised, insurance is in place and the means to actually save and process the data.
EDC can guide you through the current market options in terms of software or if you have a larger budget, we can oversee the implementation of a unique software for your company.

TRAINING
Edinburgh Drone Company guide your organisation through ALL the CAA and non CAA requirements for safe flight within the UK. We have a drone training facility near Leuchars where advanced drone training courses are complete. We set high standards that are above the requirement so that your business never has an issue and you are always ahead. During your first few days, our preferred CAA RAE will help you write a Operational Authorisation. We will get you ready and successfully through your A2 c of c or better yet, the fully A2/GVC course which is what we push as standard. Now the CAA minimum is out the way ( along with FLYER ID & OPERATR ID of course!), we will ensure your pilots are trained and actually ready for the field of work they are going into.
We believe in 6 month practical training assessments where we can come to you or you visit us for the 10 minute practical exam. This again, is way above the CAA recommendation but this is an internal standard so why should we not push and share for the same across the board.
